How to Send SMS and Emails

Let's talk SMS

  1. Go to the subscription section and buy the sms package of your choice, just as if you were recharging your monthly mobile plan.
  2. from the customers section, double click on the customer you want to send an SMS to. From the popup that appears you will also be able to view your SMS and call minutes available!
  3. Click on "schedule message"
  4. Click on send/schedule notification, and in this case click on SMS

  1. Enter a title for personal information, to remind yourself what the SMS was about
  2. Decide whether to create templates and use one, or opt for "no template"

Remember that to send messages you will need to have the caller id verified.

And now let's talk emails

To send emails to your customers, of course, you don't need to buy any subscription. The process is identical to that of SMS! The only difference is that the title will be the subject of your email. Also, for the mail section, you will need to create new templates that work the same way.

What are SMS/email templates?

If you often send repetitive text messages or emails, you can create templates to send to multiple customers without having to change the details of the same, thanks to the dynamic variables that we are going to see in more detail:

  • ${first name}: the name of the customer you are going to send the SMS/email to will be automatically updated
  • ${last name}: the last name of the customer you are going to send the SMS/email to will be automatically updated
  • ${email}: the email of the customer you are going to send the SMS/email to will be automatically updated
  • ${phone}: the phone number of the customer you are going to send the SMS/email to will be automatically updated
  • ${current month}: the current month of the date the SMS/email will be sent will be automatically updated
  • ${current year}: the current year of the date the SMS/email will be sent will be automatically updated
Create a template
  • Click on the add sign (+)
  • enter an informative title for your new model
  • create a text by inserting the dynamic variables, which will then be automatically customized for each customer
  • Click on save
